About us
Family house for 5 generations
Welcome to our family house
A family story
The Manor was built by our great-great grandmother, Sophie, at the end of the 19th century as a more modern, friendly and pleasant country house than the small castle she occupied across the road. It was then transformed and fitted out over the years, always in this spirit of modernity, conviviality and tradition. Her son, Paul, added a second floor in the first part of the 20th century to better accommodate family and friends.
We are now four cousins, the 5th generation, running the manor. Like our forefathers, we learned to walk and cycle here. We enjoy meeting up with family and friends and had fun, rejuvenation and a change of scenery with the beautiful landscapes and heritage of the Chevreuse Valley.
It is a house full of personal stories and joy that we are happy to share with you. We have chosen to offer it to you in the spirit in which our ancestors designed it, with vintage furniture and decorative elements.
We hope you will love your stay here and find it as enjoyable as we do.
